Georgia
A painting started years ago as a practice canvas and study of Georgia O'Keeffe's dark iris. A half finished study on a canvas that got buried in the back of the studio.
In 2020 I took the half finished study out and began to paint on it intuitively without going back to the reference piece and allowing the shapes and colors to guide where the painting was going. The end result is a Georgia O'Keeffe inspired painting from the depths of my subconscious.
